On August 30th, 2009, the municipal office of Čirč (the Stará Ľubovňa region) and the Rusyn Revival in Slovakia organised a Day of Rusyn Traditions, which started by a Holly Liturgy, followed by a ceremonial laying of wreaths at a memorial, a requiem mass and a cultural programme in the afternoon. Apart from the local group Čirčanka, the following acts gave performances: Plavčanka from Plaveč, Barvinok from Kamienka, Stebničanka from Stebník, singers Miroslava Gladišová, Zuzana Filičková and others. The day finished with a traditional folk ball.
