Feast Celebration at Bukova Hôrka

On August 1st and 2nd, 2009, an Archbishop Feast celebration took place at Bukova Hôrka in the Stropkov region, which has a long-standing tradition. It started on Saturday afternoon by a prayer to Jesus Christ the Saviour, followed by a Holy Mass, agape, akafist and an evening liturgy, and the day finished with a prayer to Jesus and prayers from the psalms. On Sunday morning, a prayer to the Most Holy Mother of God took place, followed by a morning liturgy, culminating in an Archbishop liturgy officiated by Ján Babjak, SJ, the Archbishop of Prešov and the Metropolitan of the Greek-Catholic Church in Slovakia and was attended by many other priests.
