November 13th, 2009 will be OURS, RUSYNS’! The organisation “Young Rusyns”, the local organisation of Rusyn Revival in Slovakia in Prešov and the Museum of Rusyn Culture in Prešov most heartily invites you to the cultural-social event On the trail of Rusyn culture as part of Days of Rusyn traditions. It is really worth coming; the day will be filled with artistic experiences. The event, which starts at 10 am, is held on Rusínska Street close to the Lidl supermarket at Sídlisko Sekčov Housing Estate, where several rock bands will perform. At 4.30 pm, an exhibition of portrait reproductions showing Rusyn personalities from the Prešov region by V. Skakandij, a Ukrainian national artist, will be opened in the A. Dukhnovich Theatre in Prešov. At 5 pm, the main stage of the above theatre will see an abundant cultural programme. We are looking forward to your attendance; admission is free!
