Presentation of a new book in Ňagov

For the people of Ňagov, November 8th, 2009 (Sunday afternoon) was a minor Rusyn holiday, as this was when Jozef Kudzej, a Ňagov national revivalist, presented his third series of fables entitled A fable-teller contemplates. It is said that you cannot become a prophet at home but the people of Ňagov (at least those who came to the event of the festive release of the book) proved that they respect the author and highly appreciate his activities. For three hours, the crowded hall of the courthouse became one, which proved that the people of Ňagov are close knit and that Ňagov is a place where Rusyns live. At the event, S. Smetanka, the mayor of the village gave a speech, as did Mgr. A. Zozuľák, a representative of Rusín and Ľudové noviny editorial office, and PhDr. K. Koporová, the reviewer of all three fable books. The performances of R. Guba and the vocal-instrumental group Ton from Medzilaborce were a nice cultural experience.
