PUĽS represents Slovakia in France

July 23rd, 2009: The Poddukliansky Artistic Folk Group (PUĽS) has recently left for an international festival in Martigues, France, where it is representing Slovakia and, especially, the Prešov self-governing region. It is one of the greatest folk festivals in the region. "The town of Martigues is on the French Riviera and the main stage is placed right on the sea. During the stay, PUĽS will perform their programme “Charmed by a Glance”, which was only recently premiered, several times. There are also other events, such as a march through the town and a dance school for festival visitors," said Jozef Michalčin, the manager of PUĽS. The director of the group Vladimír Marušin said that everything has been alright, the weather is great, as is the organisation of the whole festival, and all 46 members of the group are being well taken care of. The group are coming back to Slovakia in August.
