On October 17th, 2009, Jonáš Záborský Theatre in Prešov held the gala concert “Songs of my home” which is now in its 8th year. The concert presented the best singers of Rusyn folk songs, the winners of this year’s regional rounds and laureates from the previous years. To explain the title, the audiences could hear 700 Rusyn folk songs in total at all the stages and years of the national competition “Songs of My Home”. Miroslav Čabak from Humenné performed at all years and became the 2009 laureate.
