It was in the middle of October 2009 that we heard the great news that the Master’s Degree study programme of Rusyn Language and Literature has been accredited. This means that the present students of the Rusyn Language and Literature programme, who graduate at Bachelor’s Degree Level in 2009/2010, can continue in their studies towards a Master’s Degree and achieve full university education of the 2nd degree. In 2010/2011, the University of Prešov is opening 16 combination programmes with Rusyn Language and Literature at Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees.
