On November 25th 2009, the Association of Ukrainists in Slovakia in cooperation with other Ukrainian organisations and institutions prepared a working seminar under the name “Ten 90-year olds” in the Russian House on 62, Hlavná Street in Prešov. The seminar was dedicated to significant personalities in the fields of science and culture, who were originally identified (either by others or themselves) as Ukrainians and, later on, as Rusyns-Ukrainians; however, unambiguously, they all have Rusyn roots and were born in 1919.
