Chronology of the awarded significant personalities of Rusyns

The personalities of Rusyn culture are awarded for their significant contribution to the development of the Rusyn culture by two awards:

  1. The Alexander Duchnovich Award for Rusyn literature
  2. Award for Significant Work for the Rusyn Nation
  3. Cyril and Metod Award for Rusyn Language Development

Both of the awards – in form of bronze statute of the Carpathian bear (“ the Rusyn Oscar”) – is awarded by the Carpathian-Rusyn scientific centre in Ocala (Florida, USA) and the philathrop and president of the World Academy of Rusin Culture, Steven Chepa from Toronto (Canada), sponsors the award by the sum of USD 1,000.00.
